This course prepares the general public to provide CPR and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) effectively to adults, children, and infants.
Heartsaver® courses are intended for anyone who needs an approved AHA course completion card for their job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements. Courses can also be taken by anyone interested in preparedness for an emergency in any setting.
American Heart Association Instructor. Students complete their training in a single convenient session including:
• Performing high-quality CPR on adults, children, and infants
• Providing effective ventilation with a barrier device
• Use of an AED
• Helping an adult, child or infant who is chocking,
Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a Heartsaver® CPR AED American Heart Association approved course completion card valid for two years.
