BLS is for healthcare providers, clinical staff or first-responders. This course includes both single-rescuer and team-based basic life support skills for application in both in-facility and prehospital settings.
Renewal course is available for providers who have BLS experience and need to re-certify.
American Heart Association Certified Instructor for BLS training. Students complete their training in a single convenient session including:
• Performing high-quality CPR on adults, children, and infants
• Providing effective ventilations with a barrier device(s)
• Preparedness as an effective team member during multi-rescuer CPR
• Applying techniques for relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (choking) for adults and infants.
Providers who successfully complete the BLS course receive an approved AHA course completion card valid for two years.
